Students who enter into college are usually very young fresh out of high school. Most students have never been away from home before and this is a brand new experience for each and every one of them. They are excited, scared, and full of dreams for a brighter tomorrow. Also they are very naïve trusting all those who will affect their life.
When a student first enters the campus there are many things for them to do in order to get settled into their new surroundings. One of the things that are needed to be attended is that of getting a credit card. Most parents want their young person to have a credit card in case they need something of importance and cannot afford it. That is why most parents are willing and eager to sign the application for a credit card to assure that their child has access to funds. This is not a bad idea and since most students are responsible young adults it helps to build their credit.
